Yes there are differences between cotton and jute, and here’s a quick breakdown of the key differences between them when it comes to shibari rope. Typically in shibari we tend to...
Great for finishing up ties when you need just a little extra rope. Also extremely handy for just practicing simple knots while out and about, anyone can fit a 3ft/1m piece in a bag or pocket to practice twisting "boy scout" knots.
The rope is excellent to use .. it feels and looks good whether while tying or on a model. Fred and Amanda at the shop were very friendly and helpful.. this place .. studio and shop.. is highly recommended.
Lovely tool, amazing sensation for both

Order was delivered few days after being ordered small enough package it fit thru the post box. Packaging wasn’t a give away. Overall good product for non suspension bondage - although rope did need a wash when I got it. Will definitely be buying from here from now on
I really loved the texture of the ropes and how it felt on my hands, the model i tried them on also enjoyed how it felt, i also love the details on the book and the stickers and additional information that i received, will most likely buy more stuff =)
Black rope (treated, 6mm)
I bought this kit because, well, I considered myself to be a beginner. I found the instructions in the book hard to understand sometimes. I'm confused why the double column tie didn't include a wrap between the arms, for example. I appreciate the quick-release version though. Got frustrated with the book closing itself during a session. I also made the assumption that if this kit contains two ropes that would be enough. It wasn't enough to complete the first harness in the book. The rope itself was fine, though a bit frizzier than I expected.
Top verarbeitet.
This cotton rope very soft and forgiving. It lacks the harsh bite of traditional hemp, which is makes it suitable for restraints and harnesses that will be worn for a substantial time. As with all cotton rope, there is a noticable amount of stretch, which it is necessary to plan for when tying. The red colour is vibrant and eye-catching.
Top quality ropes love them and will definitely buy more
Nothing about where the rope is made or the quality of the dyes. This would be useful information, especially if the colour rubs off or transfers during play.

Great shopping experience. Accurate delivery dates
Purchased the starter kit with two lengths of natural jute. It is good quality rope and works well for friction ties and more. Highly recommend
